California v. Campus Crusade for Christ Inc.

(2007) 41 Cal. 4th 954
The California Supreme Court held our client, Campus Crusade, was entitled to a new trial to present to the jury evidence of the development potential of its property and its substantial severance damage claim from a massive underground water pipeline. This significant decision defines the essential role of the jury in determining the compensation owed and confirms the property owner does not bear the burden of proof.
City of Stockton v. Marina Towers LLC
