Eminent Domain
Mr. Houlihan has successfully represented property owners in condemnation and inverse condemnation actions at the trial and appellate levels. His work also includes redevelopment related condemnation, challenges to the right to take and asserting business goodwill, highest and best use, severance and impairment of access claims.
Land Use Law
Mr. Houlihan has successfully assisted a variety of property owners and residential, commercial and industrial developers on a variety of land use matters including zoning, use permits and other development approvals.
Property Related Litigation
Mr. Houlihan has represented private property owners in real estate related disputes concerning Subdivision Map Act compliance, easement issues, lot line adjustments/mergers and quiet title actions.
Real Property and Telecommunications Transactions
Mr. Houlihan has performed extensive work on lease transactions for Verizon Wireless (formerly GTE Mobilnet) including negotiating lease terms and extensions, assignment and assumptions of existing leases and necessary easements.
